Segway Nova Scotia

I worked with Segway Nova Scotia to design a new brand identity ahead of a new season of their unique guided tours of Halifax, Nova Scotia. In addition to the new visual identity, we designed an updated website for booking and information. This update included new map graphics illustrating the tour routes, site structure to improve booking conversion and additional brand assets to communicate the positive and fun experience they provide.

The Logo

The logo design is a unique and fun adaptation of a traditional Segway illustration. The wheel is a colourful flourish that mimics the path of a Segway’s distinctive zero-radius turn. This colorful path can be used as a decorative and recognizable brand asset to adorn signage, vehicles and even the rental facilities for Segway Nova Scotia.

One of the goals of this rebrand was to differentiate the brand from the official Segway brand while maintaining the recognition of Segway tours as the core offering. The logo previously leveraged the official Segway logo, and a move away from that was an opportunity to develop something new.
